Shape-shifting clouds by ~original-fictions:iconoriginal-fictions:

The sun awakens on the eastern horizon. Burning the placid balcony of Titania’s modern condominium. ‘twas another morning of sunny side-ups, toast, and hot chocolate.

She steps out of her cocoon into her sun-bathed warm balcony, where there is a glimpse of pandemonium. The metropolitan was oozing with caterpillar LRTs, roaring PUV/PUJs, and ever relentless armies of pedestrians.

Titania’s condo was a dodge of all the havoc down below. It had all the things she needed, a bedroom, a kitchen and a very spacious living room plus a balcony, she thought it was too spacious but was quite enough for her hassled life. Actually she thought it was meant for two souls.

She double checks her proposal and presentations. She aims to land a promotion and of course additional pay. She opens her laptop. Sits down on her japanese table. Sips some hot chocolate and browses away with her presentation. ‘twas 7:30a when she was finished checking her presentation. ‘twas just 15 minutes since she stepped out on her balcony.

She decides to take a bath.

The sun rises from the east making the sky less scarlet and more bluer. Together with the sun, her hopes of finding someone special shines and rises.

She steps out of the shower. She walks out into her spacious living room. Looks through the glass sliding doors of her condo. Looking into the blue of the sky. The white of the cotton candy-like clouds of blue sky. She sees a cow shaped cloud bouncing across the sky. Another, a Volkswagen vintage beetle thumping drowsily across the midmorning.

The clouds made her giggle.

She wears her usual corporate attire.

She sets out of her condo. Walks towards the elevator. The numbers was descending. 20. 19. 18. It stopped at 17. she walks into the elevator. The numbers descend. 17. 16. 15. the elevator stopped. The doors opened. A young man came in. he wore a shirt that says “OBERON”.

Oberon? She asks herself.
Sounds familiar. She thought.
Maybe I should ask for his name.

The elevator went down.

10. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5.

She looks at the man through the mirror-like doors of the elevator. The man reminds her of someone. Someone she knew from a very oblivious past. The elevator continued to descend.

5. 4.

The elevator stopped. The elevator doors opened. The young man stepped out of the elevator. Slowly he turned his head. He smiled towards her direction.

Everything paused.
Fairies flew and sung.
Their queen and king
Meet once again.

Her eyes met his.
For each second that went there was a story told.
A past revisited.
Through the eyes of lovers long ago from an oblivious past.

The elevator doors slowly closed. The elevator went on as usual.

G. the elevator sign said.

The elevator doors slowly opened. Like an ordinary day. Titania walks amongst mortals. She steps out of the building and joins an army of relentless marching pedestrians.

Another day. A new life. Feeling good and better.
